Please note that citizens of India can obtain visa to enter Nicaragua through a consular process. If the applicant has a six months valid visa to enter the US, Canada, or Schengen visa, then he/she needs to submit the valid visa by fax or e-mail to the nearest Nicaragua Consulate, along with a copy of his/her passport page where the US, Canada, or Schengen visa is stamped. Depending on the Consulate response, the applicant should continue the consular visa process.
Passport
Original passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.
Copy of the bio-data page of the passport.
Attach all old passports, if any.

One visa application form duly filled and signed.
Photo Specification
Two recent passport-size colour photographs.
Matt or semi-matt finish.
60%–80% face coverage.
White background and without border.
Size: 4 cm x 5 cm.
Photographs should not be more than 3 months old.
Photographs should not be scanned, stapled, or used in any previous visa application.
Covering Letter
Covering letter from the applicant on company letterhead stating the applicant's name, designation, passport number, purpose, and duration of visit in brief. The letter should be duly signed by an authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to:
The Visa Officer, Nicaragua Consulate, Mumbai.
Covering letter should be on letterhead if the applicant is self-employed or on plain paper if employed.
Expenses to be borne with Debit/Credit Cards.
Applicant should provide the address and phone number where they will stay in Nicaragua.
Residence Proof
Photocopy of residence proof (both sides).
Invitation Letter
A notarized letter of financial responsibility from a Nicaraguan person or institution, or a foreign person or institution legally established in Nicaragua. The subscriber of this letter will become the applicant's economic guarantor during his/her stay in Nicaragua. The Public Notary's signature stamped on this letter must be certified at the Nicaraguan Supreme Court of Judiciary.
Birth Certificate / Identity Proof
Original copy of a Birth Certificate or any other official document that proves identity.
Please note: The copy should be in Spanish. If not, it should be submitted along with a translation into Spanish made by an Official Public Translator certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the Nicaraguan Diplomatic or Consular Representation.
Police Clearance Certificate
Original copy of Police Clearance Certificate issued within the three months prior to the presentation date.
Please note: The copy should be in Spanish. If not, it should be submitted along with a translation into Spanish made by an Official Public Translator certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and by the Nicaraguan Diplomatic or Consular Representation.
Medical Certificate
Original Good Health Medical Certificate issued within three months prior to the presentation date. It must include the name and signature of the physician and his/her code or registration number at the Ministry of Health.
Please note: The certificate should be in Spanish. If not, it should be submitted along with a translation into Spanish made by an Official Public Translator certified by the Nicaraguan Diplomatic or Consular Representation.
