Letter from recognised Chamber of Commerce. It has to be addressed to the Visa Counselor/ Trade Counsellor explaining fully the purpose of visit to Iran. Personal appearance is mandatory for submission of application at the Consulate. Note: Applicant may authorize a colleague from same organization (in which applicant works) to submit and collect the documents, provided he / she carries authorization letter signed by the applicant and company ID proof. Important Note - Applicants are advised to check the below link to know whether Yellow Fever Certificate is required or not. Vaccination requirements and recommendations for International Travelers . Health regulation for passengers leaving India:- There is no health check requirement by Indian Government on passengers leaving India. However, persons leaving for a yellow fever infected area are advised in their own interest to get themselves vaccinated and to be possession of valid yellow fever vaccination certificates before they leave the country. The Embassy of Iran in India does not issue Work Visas on its own.
Anyone desirous of working in Iran needs to do any of the following:
a) Have any contacts/employer in Iran contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran and apply for a work visa on the applicant's behalf. On approval, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send a fax to the Embassy of Iran in India and then a visa will be stamped on the passport
b) Engage the services of any travel agent in Iran who will follow the same procedure detailed in point (a) above and then on receipt of an approval fax, the Embassy of Iran will stamp a work visa in the passport of the applicant.

Climate:
