Covering Letter:

Covering-letter from the company’s letter head stating applicant’s name, designation, Passport Number, purpose and duration of visit. The letter should be addressed to: High Commission of The Republic of Botswana, New Delhi

1. If entering Botswana by Road specify the same on the Covering Letter along with your contact details.
2. Meeting Schedule (If coming to attend or organize a meeting)

Invitation Letter:

Original Invitation Letter from Botswana host / inviting Company on its letter head stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory’s name, designation and Sponsor ID Copy along with the following documents.

a) Attested copy of Host National Identity, Work permit, Residence permit, Exemption Certificate, Naturalization Certificate.
b) Attested copies of Trade License, Certificate of Incorporation, Share Certificate of Host

Please Note:

1. The attestation has to be done either by Botswana Immigration or by Botswana Police Department.
2. Invitee's ID copy has to be notarized from local notary department in Botswana.

Financials

1. Personal Bank Statement for last Three months.
2. Proof of Funds (International credit card photocopy/endorsement of US$ on the passport)

3. Sworn Statement from the host.(Done at the Botswana Immigration or at the police station)
4. Certified copy of Marriage and Birth Certificate (in case of Married couples / dependents)
5. Certified copy of Ordination Certificate for Religious Leaders
6. Business profile if coming to establish a business (Host)
7. Return visa or Residence Permit from the country of residence
8. Certified copies of Trade License, Certificate of Incorporation, Share Certificate of Host if the host is running a business in Botswana.
